Senior Director / Director; Medical Affairs

We are currently seeking a Senior Director / Director, Medical Affairs, for our client, an exciting biopharmaceutical company based in South San Francisco, CA.

You will support medical affairs and the cardiovascular business unit for a key product. You will assist with medical initiatives and clinical trial research within the US medical department. You will become a medical expert and reference for products in the US. You will support and develop cardiovascular business unit specific medical tactics including POA planning, managed markets strategies and speaker training. You will support the strategic planning and implementation of phase IIIb/IV clinical research. You will work closely with marketing and sales to develop and implement the marketing plan. You will be the custodian of phase IV studies for products in the US.

You will be an MD preferably, PHD or PharmD will be considered. You will have two years experience in clinical research in industry and/or current medical science liaison role. You will have two years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably on the marketing side with strong commercial focus experience.
