Senior Clinical Pharmacologist (CNS) / Head of Clinical Pharmacology (CNS)

You will join an established biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to the discovery, development and commercialisation of innovative pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products in the fields of CNS and immunology.

This is a high profile role within Global Exploratory Medicine, a newly-created division which will establish an optimum knowledge base for early projects, in order to increase the likelihood of success in late stage development. A Senior Clinical Pharmacologist / Head of Clinical Pharmacology you will be responsible for full clinical pharmacology programmes for assigned NCEs and NBEs within the CNS pipeline. This will include the design, execution and reporting of clinical pharmacology strategies/studies and the representation of Clinical Pharmacology in discussion with global regulatory authorities. For more senior level candidates, there will be the genuine opportunity to taken on leadership responsibility for Early Clinical Sub-teams and to assume management responsibility for the Clinical Pharmacology (CNS) group.

Ideally medically qualified, you will bring to the role a solid track record in the development and implementation of forward-thinking clinical pharmacology strategies, gained within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology/CRO environment. You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of general clinical pharmacology, including the design and conduct of clinical trials, interpretation of population PK and PK/PD modelling & simulation data as well as the use of biomarkers in early clinical development. An enthusiastic and passionate leader, you will demonstrate an ability to influence and motivate within a matrix environment, driving a culture of innovative science and clinical excellence.
