Regional Regulatory / Technical Manager; Europe

Our client is cosmetics and consumer healthcare organization. They currently have an opportunity for a Regional Regulatory/Technical Manager for Europe.

Reporting to the Global Director of Regulatory and QA you will provide technical direction to the EMEA region (excluding South Africa) in order to ensure timely introduction of new products, regulatory compliance and quality assurance. To be a highly interactive liaison, working with U.S. R&D, legal, procurement and local management.

This role is heavily involved in the global roll out of REACH. Previous experience in this area would be beneficial as well as a working knowledge of cosmetic regulations.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the formulation and distribution of personal care products
• Excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to work in a team environment are required
• Must also be fluent in English
• Experience in quality assurance and/or product development is preferred
• Ability to communicate at a technical level with local government agencies, regulatory bodies and industry trade associations
• Additional expertise in cosmetic regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices is desired.
