National Sales Manager

Our client manufactures and sells speciality therapeutic products within a global market which make a real difference to the quality of peoples lives.

They are now looking to appoint a UK National Sales Manager reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director. The individual will be responsible for the management of two Regional Managers, a small field based specialist sales team and a head office based Customer Services team.

The UK represents a significant proportion of the company's global turnover, and the job holder will be required to grow this business, achieve sales targets and provide strategic and operational leadership to the sales team.

The candidate must be able to show passion and demonstrate a strong drive in building a performance culture across the sales team with transparency and impressive drive for results. Additionally, create, inspire and manage a performance focussed team capable of delivering extraordinary results.

This position requires the candidate to be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and to be ABPI qualified. In addition, have extensive pharmaceutical sales and sales management experience ideally in the NHS/Bio pharmaceutical sectors.

Although the company is based in Hertfordshire, the role will be field-based.
