For one of our key Clients we are seeking a Marketing Manager; Medical Devices. You will be responsible for providing both strategic and tactical marketing leadership for the dedicated range of products in Germany.
Create focused and ambitious marketing plans for products and services to the Healthcare markets within Germany
Develop a detailed annual marketing plan in conjunction with the Sales Director and VP International Marketing in order to meet the sales, market share and profit objectives
To demonstrate technical marketing skills and expert product knowledge in order to create the best marketing platforms and tactics for the range of products
Budget management. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget
To manage promotional agencies in terms of quality and delivery
To ensure that promotional and sales materials complies with industry guidelines and is accurate in terms of technical data
To ensure sufficient supply of the dedicated range of products by producing accurate and timely forecasts
To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
To manage entire product(s) line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
To conduct market research in order to identify market opportunities for current and future products
To motivate the sales forces and clinical support associates to deliver the promotional plans in line with the company strategy
To network with key opinion leaders in order to influence their view of the range of products
To keep updated on strategy and activities within the global market. Have regular contact with Marketing and Clinical counterparts.
Candidate profile
Qualifications:
Science degree or similar
Marketing qualifications (CIM, MBA etc.)
3 Years marketing experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
2 years experience of market research is desirable
Ability to lead and manage others
Ability to scope and manage projects
High levels of planning and organizational skills
Ability to make quality decisions
Strong analytical skills
Fluent English/German speaker.

Well developed marketing competencies
Experience in marketing brands using all elements of promotional mix, ideally in Germany
Strong influencing skills
Good communicator - written and spoken. English speaker
