The Client was founded in Baden-Württemberg, Germany in 2003 through the fusion of leading German and American technologies in the field of artificial lungs and is now active throughout the world. From the outset Our Client has focused on high-quality development and production "Made in Germany". Cutting-edge technologies are employed in our Client's medtech production facility in the manufacture of a membrane ventilator and vascular access cannulas, both of which have been used to help treat thousands of patients.
The Candidate will be responsible to provide the Customers with a wide range of training courses to extend the Customer's knowledge of lung protection procedures and related subjects on an individual basis. The trainer can call on many years of clinical experience and is united in a common goal: To organize the transfer of knowledge in a sophisticated yet practical manner. Therefore our Client's courses incorporate the basics of intensive care and presentations of case reports by clinical users. New therapy approaches to lung protection are taught in theory and by practical exercises. Clinical simulations on in-vivo and in-vitro models maximize learning success.
Independently provide clinical support and product training for customers and dealers internationally and domestically under general supervision. The International Clinical Product Specialist will support various distributor organizations to train local support specialist and customers across Europe and perhaps globally. This includes attending congresses, giving product demonstrations and technical seminars for individuals and groups as directed by Sales & Marketing.
Specific tasks:
Provide clinical training to international dealers and their customers locally and at the company Academy
Provide bedside clinical support to international end users locally
Provide bedside clinical support to end users in Germany as part our Clients 24/7 Clinical Support Service
Report on clinical trends in international markets.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications: Nurse educator/trainer in the ICU with extracorporeal device knowledge such as critical care dialysis, perfusion or membrane apheresis would be an ideal technical background along with experience in training doctors and nurses on use of this type of equipment in the ICU. Approximate 3 years experience in training.
Qualifications:
Clinical training as ICU nurse, respiratory therapist or equivalent training and experience
Good spoken and written English language skills
Good spoken German language skills
Additional languages advantageous but not required
Able to work independently with limited supervision
Willing to travel extensively
This position requires about 75% travel primarily in Europe.
