Chairman; Medical Board

Our client is a leading provider of rehabilitative care in Singapore and has created an exciting new senior position - The Chairman Medical Board - who will oversee and provide dynamic leadership to all clinical departments including allied health departments. You will be a key member of the top management team of the Hospital and is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring the profitability, future development of the Hospital and in managing the Board.

You will work closely with the CEO to ensure that the Hospital is able to consistently realise its mission and vision. The CMB provides strategic leadership to the Medical team and ensures that the work flow system and resources are in place and are flexible enough to support business changes, growth and operational efficiency. He/She is the principal professional in the organisation and is directly responsible and provides leadership for the care of all patients, management of professional clinical activities as well as the supervision of all staff in the department.

You must have a robust management style and be strategic in your approach. It is essential that you have had direct experience in dealing with staff and working with senior management level in a hospital. You will have a medical degree (MBBS or MD), ideally you will also have additional qualifications in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Geriatric Medicine. All qualifications must be eligible for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
